Father's Refuge
Father’s Refuge is a safe and compassionate space for fathers and family members who have experienced profound loss.
Grief takes many forms — the death of a loved one, the weight of extended illness, the collapse of a relationship, or the loss of purpose that comes with major life changes. Whatever the source, loss reshapes us, and no one should have to face it alone.
Hosted by James Moffitt, Father’s Refuge was born out of personal heartbreak. James lost his daughter, Jessica Ann, to childhood cancer in 2001, and his son, Jeremy, in 2025. Through honest conversations, faith, reflection, and shared storytelling, he offers encouragement to fathers who often suffer in silence — reminding them that healing is possible and community matters.
Each episode of Father’s Refuge explores real stories of loss, resilience, and hope. This is a place where fathers — and all family members navigating grief — can find comfort, understanding, and the strength to keep moving forward with their family and faith intact.
Because even in grief, there is refuge.
