Father's Refuge is a safe place for fathers of children experiencing childhood cancer or terminal illnesses. This is a place for fathers who are walking through the treatment process with their families or are experiencing grief from the loss of a child. My wife and I lost our Jessica Ann on August 5th 2001 to childhood cancer. The doctors said if she lasted 12 months we would be lucky. Jessica lasted 14 months. We also lost Jeremy Moffitt in January of 2025 after being in the ICU for 5 weeks at a local hospital in Michigan. Jeremy was 38 years old. I will be sharing our stories of loss through this podcast. I want to encourage other fathers to share their stories.
