Matthew Efird is the bestselling author of Even Though, We Will: Finding Rest in the Waves of Child Loss and the Practical Arks That Carry Us Through, released April 14, 2026. He and his wife Hannah are the parents of Noah Clifton, who was diagnosed prenatally with Trisomy 13 in September 2019. He was born on March 7 and lived for 57.5 hours.

Matthew is the host of the Pillars of Purpose Podcast, founder of Lighting Pros, and co-founder of the Even Though, We Will Foundation, which sends care packages called Noah's Arks to families navigating terminal prenatal diagnoses. He served in pastoral ministry for a decade and continues to serve in his local church.

The book is built on the journals Matthew kept through Noah's diagnosis and 57.5-hour life. It offers practical anchors he calls arks, daily disciplines that carry fathers, mothers, and families through seasons that willpower cannot.
